- (4 points) Another day of not knowing what to do. Scalped GOOG calls, but that’s it. I still can’t find the sure 10bagger in this market
- (3 points) Fucking GOOG! Spy is pumping you piece of shit
- (2 points) Told myself I’d just hold GOOG until it went back up, but now that I’m down 30%, gonna tax loss harvest (accept that I was regarded) that bad boy
I’m theory Google Class A shares should be trading to a premium to Google Class C shares because they are the same except google class a has voting rights. Is there a reason why GOOGL is trading lower... Read More

I understand the difference between Class A and Class C stocks (essentially that being Class A having votes with Class C not, please correct me if I'm wrong or there are further differences). My ques... Read More
- (9 points, 3 replies) GOOGL has a shareholder vote, GOOG doesn't, but the founders have majority power in class B shares so the vote is largely pointless. GOOGL used to be the only one that had buybacks but now both do so they're essentially the same class of shares until something differentiates them again.
- (5 points) Yep, basically the same. GOOGL is the preferred share that has historically had direct buybacks. GOOG had buybacks added more recently last year.
- (2 points) GOOG was the one that had buybacks but in 2021 they started buying back GOOGL as well after shareholder pressure. I bought GOOGL many years ago when it used to trade higher than GOOG so it was annoying they were only buying back GOOG when GOOGL shares were and still are cheaper.
- (2 points) Why is there a price difference between GOOG & GOOGL

Hello! AI seems to be the next big thing, that currently flies under the radar of general public, therefore shares remain cheaply priced. There are 2 obvious big players developing AI - Microsoft an... Read More
- (54 points, 5 replies) GOOG, MSFT, NVDA are the big boys in AI research. PLTR is a data engineering company. Invest in PLTR if you if you believe their vision will help other AI companies scale. C3.ai doesn't have a vision. Avoid this stock as a long term investor. TXN is finding a niche in analogue chips that run more efficiently than GPUs like the ones designed by NVDA. Analogue chips are good at inference (running complex models) and consume way less energy, but bad at training models. TSLA is not an insane bet if you believe we'll continue to see exponential progress in the field of AI. I'm staying away from this one for now though... in fact I'm staying away from all of these companies except for GOOG and MSFT since I've been holding these for years. Sold NVDA but looking to get back in.
- (3 points) Self-driving car use Vision AI, a different subset of AI. Their custom chip and supercomputer Dojo are very smart. I think it is always overpriced so I just pass. MSFT and GOOG are also my long-term investment.
- (2 points) If you’re interested in smaller companies with a lot of room to grow, outside of the big established and diversified players like GOOG and MSFT, take a look at the holdings of thematic AI ETFs like LRNZ, BOTZ, and ARKQ. There are probably a few others, but between those three you’ll get a good idea of just about every publicly listed growth-focused company with some stake in emerging AI tech.

Failures to Deliver
Each point represents the aggregate net balance of shares that failed to be delivered as of a particular settlement date.
Please note that fails-to-deliver can occur for a number of reasons on both long and short sales. Therefore, fails-to-deliver are not necessarily the result of short selling, nor evidence of abusive “naked” short selling. For more information on short selling and fails-to-deliver, see Key Points About Regulation SHO, Division of Market Regulation, and Final Rule: Short Sales.
